Huh?

I know Tom Cruise was on, but even he was'nt blatantly on drugs the way that segment of people about Senna was?

I wracked my brains trying to remember why I did'nt feel so moved by the Senna funeral stuff for ages, especially when the interviews showed everyone stating how amazing he was and this and that. And then I remembered why when I saw the footage of him purposefully crashing people out.... I always had a bad feeling watching him, as if he was devious or two-faced about what he did. And the poinient scenes of him utterly rampaging through people amde it kind of clear he was.

Mind you, did'nt Schumacher do something similar somewhere?

Now.... fight about that in yer own time Juggss and Nucon! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Been many good drivers and most have controversial races and incidents at some point or another. All racing drivers have a "must win" attitude. These days, if you purposfully took another driver out you would be in serious trouble as Schumacher found out in '97 when he lost every point for that season, after he tried to take Villeneuve out.

Yeah true... and I guess they all have a sort of 'understanding' between themselves right? Like a gentleman's agreement that this is the way it is, so I guess for them they see past any dodgy moves at the end of the day.

Just watched the program and as an F1 fan thought it was awesome, a very nice piece on without doubt, the greatest driver ever. Tbh I think this will educate many F1 fans at the kind of shows we could have if the teams just agreed to have minimal downforce instead of the up-side-down jet fighters we are unblessed with. There was a gentlemens agreement last year in FOTA (Formula One Team Association) for all teams to reduce the downforce, yet none of them built a car with the agreed specs.

Thing is, Ayrtons car with an immensely powerful 1200bhp would be beaten on track by todays 750bhp because they have so much downforce, much lighter and technologically advanced. I would love the FIA to make a ruling for the teams to lower downforce by at least 65% and then, and only then, would we be priveledged enough to enjoy a Sunday afternoon as good as that of the Eighties.

EdIT

However, even in the Eighties, you had the boring as fuck races. I used to love Hockenheim before they totally fucked it up and removed the immense straights.

And...there have been some awesome races this year and 3 terrible ones. Oh and Hungary will bore the pants off ya!

Which is why I dont watch F1!!

Prefer WRC myself..........

Or, just started watching rally cross, love to see the 6R4's and RS200 going neck and neck, and fook them things move, 60 in a little over 2 secs!

Alright, nowhere near as fast as F1, but on dirt??!!.............. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But for me I would rather watch stuff like this, just for the amazing skill involved...................

The trials stuff he does in the last half of the vid......... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

OK, probably not for everyone, but before the wife and kids I used to do a bit myself, not in this guys league of course, but even so, at least I can appreciate the skill involved.
